I brought my dog in for heartworm treatment. It didn't seem like when I made the appt and asked questions that the information was communicated to other people in the office, especially the vet techs. When I went to pick up my dog the following day, after her procedure, it seemed from the front desk perspective, the vet tech would be willing to answer any questions I had. When I began to ask questions of the vet tech that brought my dog out, she seemed bothered that I actually had questions. When I specifically asked about pain meds, the answer I got was "well, it wasn't in the original quote." Ok, I get that, but how about "we would recommend she have some because she will be sore, etc." the people skills of some of the people in the office is definitely an opportunity. for some people, pets are their family and should be treated as such. I appreciate the affordable care, but it's not worth the bad customer service received.

its been 3 years now, but I took my very sick cat in, and they treated him for bronchitis, he wasnt getting better in fact getting worse. The vet at that time, who I liked very well.. treated him a 2nd time, then he said, please bring him in Saturday morning , I want to re test him with out charge this time, I want to know. Come to find out , he had pneumonia. The Dr, treated him and he is alive and very well at 10 yrs.
On the other hand I took my dog, Sadie Jo in, she had a couple of sores on her that I thought could be ring worm,,almost 300$ later we find out it was just a skin rash, They did ear wash on her, and used 2 large applications on her,at 30$ each, when they could easily use 1 , she isnt a lrg dog. I wondered why they did ear wash when Im asking about sores on her skin, They told me the bill would be 250$ I certainly wasnt expecting that , but what do you do , im already there, but when I paid out it was 280$ I asked why is it more, the receptionist asked the vet and it was because he gave her a shot, that would help her with itching, I would not have okayed that because they gave me a prescription for that.. I felt taken for, I felt like this vet was doing things unnecessary, just to up the bill.. This was not the same vet at all. I wish I remembered the name of the first vet. Because he was amazing and all my pets loved him.. The last vet I did not like at all, and to be honest I wont take my pets there except for vaccines and heart worm, I will find another for other issues if I need too.

Very nice and well-informed staff. Low-cost vaccinations were not so low cost but I know my dog is being well cared for.
