Hygenist/assistant (Andrea?) was a little rough on the cleaning and flossing. And Dr. Dexter seemed a little rushed on what was supposed to be my full exam.
Also, it doesn't seem like all of the safety measures are taken compared to 2020. Back then, questions were asked and temperature was taken before going into the rooms. And the PPE shield wasn't worn by Andrea during the cleaning, and no bib was provided during the cleaning, which I think is usually provided.
Thank you for your feedback on your recent experience in my office, I'm sorry that it didn't meet the high standard of care that we try to provide. Patient feedback is a good reminder of what we are doing well, but also it gives us information on how we can improve.
In regard to safety measures, a lot has changed since 2020 in regard to guidelines and protocols for care and we work hard to meet those standards and try to exceed them. Our patients safety is paramount because it also is in consideration of our own safety and the safety of our families and the community that we live in and serve. We are all in this together and we want to be there to protect and support each other.

Dr. Dexter is the best dentist I've ever seen. He's honest; he doesn't try to sell you on unneeded work, as so many dentists do nowadays. He's super competent. He never rushes during a visit but patiently answers questions. He also is generous in our community, for example giving back to the art community by hosting an ongoing, changing photo gallery in his office. If you're looking for a new dentist, you can't go wrong in choosing Donald Dexter.
