Allen, Sorry to hear the VW is having issues. I would like to respond and clarify some things regarding this negative review. Your vehicle first came to us 9/22/20 with the symptom of no headlamps, wipers or heater operation. Testing revealed major electrical wiring issues which were estimated at $818.63 to repair. In truth someone had attempted to repair the car before it came to our shop and butchered the wiring causing the repair cost to be higher than normal. We completed the needed repairs which were successful as all items worked properly. The car then returns on 1/20/21 and 5,414 miles later with the symptom of the car stalling at times. We connected to the analyzer and found codes relating to the turbo recirculation valve, secondary air injection and throttle valve. During our testing all signals and circuits related to these codes checked normally. We actually drove a total of 43 miles (see the odometer in and out listed on your invoice) and during that time no codes returned and no stalling occurred. You were charged $103.05 which is 1 hour in our shop for the time the technician spent with your vehicle. Most of the VW dealers are currently charging $120.00 to $150.00 per hour so we are able to save you some money in that regard. Had the current symptom been related to the previous repair obviously there would have been no charge but that was not the case.
