I don't want to give Don's Service a bad review, but I am not very happy with my latest experience there. I'm not happy with my car, and after spending WAY more money than the car is worth this year, I'm just very disappointed. I was hoping Don's Service would be a place where I felt I might be treated fairly, and someone might actually care about getting my car in good and safe working order. Maybe Don's Service did as much as they could for my car, but I never did get that feeling that I was ever being addressed in an honest manner. I'm just disappointed, but then again, that's life!
Debbie, First and foremost I apologize if you were not satisfied with your latest experience at our shop. I have reviewed all of your service history from your first visit 2/16/17 to your last visit on 9/11/17 and agree that this car has required a lot of repairs. It is unfortunate but a 15 year old Volkswagen at nearly 190k miles can become very expensive to keep on the road. I do know that all of the repairs we have made still seem to be in good working order and obviously all repairs made were needed. I get your frustration as you have already spent a lot of money on this car. Your repair history shows this car still has a noisy secondary air injection pump that I know you have been concerned about. We opted to let you know this is only a nuisance noise at this time and does not affect the reliability of the car. We do care about getting your car in good and safe working order but in light of the money spent on this vehicle in the last year we simply wanted you to know this repair can wait. We strive to be honest and make wise suggestions with regard to your car repairs and budget. If I can be of further assistance in the future please reach out and ask for me directly.
