I was a bit scared at first and didn't know what to expect but my student was wonderful. She had a great personality and I loved my cut. There are teachers there to review the work and fix anything you weren't happy with, but she did a great job on her own. Would go back again.

Went for a facial (used a voucher won in a contest) and really enjoyed the experience. Everything was tailored to my skin type and everything was explained well by Hanh. Skin is feeling great the next day and it was all very relaxing. I am not sure I would have went had I not gotten it for free, but regardless it was very enjoyable.

My stylist had to leave early and I ended up with 5 different people working with me. It got very confusing and I don't think I received a very good cut. This was not my normal experience with Aveda. I think the situation could have been handled differently. I should have been given a stylist that was available to complete the appointment even though it was the end of the day since I arrived in time. I felt rushed as everyone was packing up to leave.

While I was a tad bit disappointed with the recommendation that the teacher gave me when I wanted something done to my hair (color treat), It was commendable that she felt a little uncomfortable doing it. Her integrity was admirable and while i'm still not completely happy with my outcome, I did receive some good advice. Have been going to Aveda for a few years and usually happy with my outcome, but my hair is just too damaged for what I wanted done.

Would it be possible to add eyebrow threading to the students repertoire? Also if Douglas J Aveda carry texurizers in trial sizes would be awesome. I don't use a lot of product but would prefer something more natural based.
