In all my dealings with Dowdy's, I was treated with kindness and respect! I have never taken my VW to anyone but the VW dealer, so I did not know what to expect. My car was in and out in a day and hopefully, will run ok! At this point in time, I am just thankful to have my "ride" back!!! Thanks so much!

I cannot say enough about this shop and the guys that work there. Truly a group of guys who want to provide the best service and with a helpful attitude. I even shared with my family just how thorough they are to insure quality care! They are the best team I have ever had working on my car!

While customer service was pleasant, I have 3 main concerns. The first is, I was charged a diagnostic fee but not told up front. I have never been charged a fee for a diagnosis, . If there’s a fee it has to be disclosed to the customer before anything is done and agreed to by both parties. This didn’t happen. Next, I didn’t use this shop as they were charging $400.00 more than a local BMW mechanic. I tried to discuss this with the gentleman helping me, explaining the charges were way off, I didn’t get a satisfactory answer. My goal was to find out why, to be sure we were on the same page, that never happened. Next, a bracket was broke while tightening by the shop, they told me they ordered it, will arrive on Tuesday, said we could pick it up. Excuse me, shouldn’t they have said, we’ll put it on for you as we broke it? I was so upset last night about all of this. Beware & do your research so your not over paying when you don’t have to. I believe the fee I was charged be refunded as this was not told to me up front. I’ll see what the shop does to make this right.
