My experience could have been a little better. The dental assistant seemed to be a trainee that could have some better supervision. He was nice, but boy did he cause discomfort with holding the suction tool. He pushed it in pretty hard and pulled it outwards causing my lip to stretch, that two days later it’s still sore. Also, he struggles with my temporary cap. He was about to use something he wasn’t suppose to until another assistant told him no. She then told him to floss the temp crown but all he did was use a pick to scrape a little, like two seconds. I had the taste of some chemical for about two days. I didn’t say anything during the procedure because they out a shield inside my mouth. The dentist could have explained better after he worked on my tooth. I had silver filling removed and the tooth prepped for a crown. He asked if I had questions prior to the procedure but didn’t ask after he was done. He went on to the next patient and after over an hour in the chair with my mouth sore, I wasn’t waiting around to ask any questions. I do like this place, and would recommend it, but I am apprehensive about the new male dental assistant.
