I'm terrified of Dentists...I didn't go to a one for 10 years.

Then I found Dr Negvesky. She had to do 8 crowns!!!

She offered me options and explained that the ones I chose

(Porcelain) wouldn't last as long as metal. I still opted for the pretty white ones with the understanding they may only last ten years...that was 20 years ago and yesterday I finally had to have 2 replaced. I'd say that's pretty darn good value for money.

But more than that it's the calm warm gentle manner that she approaches her work with..always making me feel at ease

Her hygienists are second to non..I now go every 3 months for cleaning and check ups twice a year..

and what I really love is that everyone who meets me comments on how great my teeth are.

I have always had a great experience at this office. Kristi is a great hygienist, not only is she knowledgeable but also personable and just a delight to see at 8am when you are getting your teeth cleaned.

I love Dr Negvesky and she has been my dentist for over 20 years. She is a magician and the best in what she does. She has rescued my sorely neglected mouth of 20+ years ago and transformed it beautifully. I am now diligent about getting my teeth cleaned every 4-5 months to control gum disease, have had my teeth whitened and for many years, have been in "maintenance mode" so I haven't minded the creeping price increases so much. As the crowns are growing older, however, the cost of replacing them is staggering. Barely a year and a half ago, I had one replaced and it was $1400.00. I thought that was a pretty big price increase from several years before that when it was $900! I now have to have another replaced and was told it would be $1900 plus another $400 for a procedure prior to putting in the crown. I was stunned. Are prices really going up that much or is it a case of charging the typical Bay Area 'what the market will bear'. Oh, and I have no dental insurance (not that it would help that much) so all these costs go on my credit card. Even the cleanings and yearly X-Rays are pocketbook breaking. Please, please, please, slow down the steep price increases or I will be forced to go elsewhere eventually.
