Pediatric Dentist - Children are not miniature adults when it comes to dentistry. They require the services of dental professionals who are specifically trained in treating infants, children and adolescents as well as children with special needs.
The staff and office are geared to present a child-oriented environment. They strive to make trips to the dentist something that children look forward to by creating a positive attitude about dentistry. The emphasis is made on the importance of preventive dentistry at an early age so that children will learn skills that will produce a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums. It is recommended that the first visit to the dentist should be at the age of 18 months unless there are problems that require earlier attention.
