I called on a Saturday morning to see if someone could check out my eye which was bothering me, and 50 minutes later I was in an appointment with Dr. Grant. Fantastically easy and my eye is feeling terrifically better already.
I love the practice but was kind of disappointed that Dr Finley asked his associate to meet with me as he was running behind. When you make an appointment to see a particular doctor and it’s awkward when the new doctor asks if you are willing to let her see you. When I said no she asked if she could start and bring Dr Finley in at the end. After the exam she asked again she if he needed to come in or not. Another awkward moment....I finally just said it was fine fir her to do the exam.
Located inside the most adorable historic house on Pine Street, Brush Stokes Salon is my new favorite stop for beauty. It is a calm and pleasant retreat full of lovely antiques. I walked into this busy salon without an appointment and was warmly welcomed by everyone from the receptionist to the gracious owner, Mary. I was immediately offered refreshments and cookies. Shortly thereafter, I met with my stylist, Mary. I hair needed color and hydration. She chose products specifically designed to restore the health of my hair. Mary skillfully gave my hair a great color and a healthy shine and texture. The shampoo experience with Dora was wonderful! I met with friends later and they all commented on how beautiful my hair looks now. This place is a great find. Try it out. You will love it.
