Even though this was my first offcial visit with Dr. Parker, it wasn't the first time she treated me. I had been seeing Dr. Brown since she took over for Dr. Payer several years ago and I just hadn't "gotten around to" seeing Dr. Parker. About two weeks ago, on a Friday morning, I woke up with a very familiar-type pain. A pain that I knew was not going to get better without a professionals help! Like I said before, it was a Friday. To find a Dr., ANY Dr. In their office on a Friday in this town, is simply unheard of in my experience. So, I began calling, first I called Dr. Parkers office and left a message then I called my Endodontist office, who I read online was open on Fridays from 8-noon...that would be the FIRST Friday of every month, which this was not. I was searching for emergency-type places to go by this time and then Sharon, from Dr. Parker's office called and had to leave a voicemail because I was frantically trying to call other places and didn't realize she was calling!
So, I called Sharon back, finding out that she was in touch with Dr. Parker who was unable to be on phone. Anyways, to make a long story longer, Sharon was able to call me in an antibiotic prescription that got me pain free in a couple of days. I followed up with Dr. Parker on the next Tuesday to see if she could find what the trouble was and to get my long over due cleaning and x-rays. Alas, she could not see what the trouble was but we both are assured it will probably rear its ugly head again in the not so distant future.
I can most assuredly say that I received top-notch care from Dr. Parker and Sharon and Angela, my hygienist and I'm very thankful to all of them. It's extremely difficult these days to find this level of care, especially when the Dr. has never even met me! I'm assuming my reputation preceded me in this case, and it still didn't matter! I'm thankful to you, too, Donna Marie!! Always helpful, always positive.
