We love Dr. Creamer, but some of the staff policies are unnecessary. They made us fill out forms, again, even though no information had changed. After handing in the form and seeing no changes, it was trashed. What was the point?? Also, at the doctor's office for both adults and minors, one care person is allowed at the visit. I think it is well past time for a parent to be able to accompany a minor child to their appointment.
Thank you for your feedback. I would like to to help you understand the forms. A health care facility has guidelines they must follow in order to practice. We are regulated to have forms updated at least once a year. Even if no information has changed. However most of the time something has changed and the patient doesn't even realize it. Also we do not trash any forms, we make the necessary changes and then scan them into the chart. If it is a paper form we shred the form. If it is a form that is laminated we wipe down the form and get it ready for the next patient. I am not sure why it was the impression that only one person could accompany the child. That regulation was lifted long ago. We have allowed anyone to come to the visit for at least 9 months now. I apologize if you got the impression you were the only one allowed. I hope this helps clarify the reasoning behind the forms and the reasoning behind them. Thanks again for your feedback.
