Everyone was very nice and pleasant but I'm a little worried about a couple of things. 3 breakages over 2 years is not multiple as we were told on initial visit. Also morning only appointments for longer visits means missing a couple of hours of school. People pay a lot of money for orthodontics and patients are not seen very often at all. Not like it was years ago, anyway, so a little flexibility would be helpful. I didn't use the same Orthodontist for this child because of some of the above but it looks like all Ortho practices practice in the same manner. At any rate I'll hold up my recommendations as I see how things play out because if everything is the same one is as good as another. The appointment are based on what is convenient for the practice, techs do most of the work and don't break your wires more than three times or you pay.

Thank you for your comments. I apologize that the office left you with concerns. Please let me address them for you in this forum since remarks were left anonymously.
Over the years our practice has found that children are fresher and are able to remain still and calm for longer appointments in the morning versus later in the day when they are prone to being restless and tired. Morning appointments are designed to benefit the child.
Orthodontics continues to evolve rapidly to benefit our patients. The technology is based on the same science and materials used by NASA. It is a great thing that patients only have to come to appointments every 6-10 weeks. This saves your family valuable time and best of all children do not have to miss as much school!
While you are correct in that all orthodontists have similar tools in their toolbox (everyone orthodontist uses wires, brackets, etc.) two orthodontists or orthodontic offices are not alike. Much like artists use similar tools but create different work. Our team works hard to combine the art and science of creating proper tooth alignment, optimal esthetics and a healthy bite for your child. We are not in the practice of only straightening the teeth that are visible when you smile.
I am the only orthodontist in the practice and I will see your child at every appointment to ensure continuity of care and the best possible result. My team is an extension of me and all of our assistants are certified and have a tremendous amount of experience. Our 3 well trained assistants have a combined 50 years of orthodontic experience in this practice. Every patient of ours deserves no less.
