Everyone in our family comes here for dental care. It was always fantastic in terms of services provided by all the stuff that we have encountered. However, it was different last time when my mom got her tooth removed.
1. My mom got her annual cleaning two month ago, and we weren't told anything wrong with her teeth, even with X-ray done. She recently experienced tooth pain, and that specific tooth started moving around when touched. So we came in this time, the x-ray showed cavities in this tooth, and it needs to be removed. Those cavities didn't grow in this two months, why weren't we told last time. We are still charged $75 for emergency which I think it rediculously unreasonable!
2. The doctor that day was nice, and he explained everything thoroughly. But during the procedure, he kept looking around for things that were supposed to be out there for him before he even started the procedure. He then called the DH/assistant, but she DID NOT answer, instead, she kept talking to another person in the lobby! W**?? My mom was bleeding and she was out there talking? YES, she was!!!
3. I had expressed my concern about not being informed anything during our last visit and paying the $75 for EMERGENCY!! So when this DH/assistant came in (with her face showing attitude) she said either me or my mom was DEFINITELY informed about my mom's cavities during our last visit. Excuse me? I don't need her to tell me what I have been told during MY last visit!! I then nicely told her that because my mom doesn't speak any English, there was no way that they informed my mom. She then kept her mouth shut!!
We will re-consider if it worth of coming back. Again, all other stuff that we have encountered were REALLY nice, except this lady. I really wish they can fire her. As a health care profession (I am too), what the DH/assistant did/said was not acceptable. She definitely needs to learn her lesson the hard way.
