The staff offered to check with my insurance carrier to see if a certain procedure would be covered. I called five times and offered to do the calling myself but never got an answer from them. At my last checkup, I discussed this problem with the dentist, who said his staff would check on the coverage. That was three weeks ago and I have heard nothing. The cleaning was poorly done the time before--and was worse this last time. If they charged my insurance for the past "cleaning", I am going to lodge a protest with my insurance company. The technician did almost nothing.
