Dr. Merchanthouse from my regular dentist's office Dr. Eager sent me with a referral slip for Dr. Katz to investigate 2 things:
1. to see if #30 is cracked to determine if my crown can be reused after a small cavity under the crown is filled.
2. to investigate if pain on the left side upper, lower and jaw joint is being caused by something dental related.
I felt like neither issue was answered but rather had an overall periodontal exam to determine future work not solve the 2 issues I was referred for.

Your initial visit was a complete evaluation to gather all information on your overall dental condition and to listen to the problems and concerns of both you and your referring dentist. We do have you scheduled next for a treatment conference that is included as part of that initial visit where Dr. Katz will be reviewing those findings and discussing appropriate treatment options.
