There is a weird little clear ball with three dots of pigment in it on the rim of my Mohs procedure scar. I was eager to have this ball removed, along with some knots left by the stitches. Dr. Street shielded my face and sprayed liquid nitrogen. She said to the other person in the room something like, "There are three." Well, l was upset back at home to look in the mirror and see that this pigmented ball is still there! If the ball could not be removed for some reason, l would have liked to have been told why.
This was my appointment for looking at my entire body to determine if there were any dangerous things growing that should be removed. It seemed that l was supposed to alert them to spots that l had found rather than have them look at my entire body to discover what was dangerous. In the future, I will come in with a better knowledge of that to call their attention to.
The person who was not Dr. Street, stayed behind to tell me to pick up a prescription slip as l left; however, when l checked out, there was no prescription. My comments all indicate a problem with communication, but it may have been on my part, and l hope to do better in the future.
