When I first checked in the welcome at the front desk was exceptional. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and chatted with me as I waited. I was about an hour early for my appointment but they got to me right away. The folks that worked on me were courteous and gentle. However, when I got home I realized my mouth was sore and I could not eat because the wire they had put to support my teeth was sharp and poking my tongue and lips. I called the following day around 2 PM but nobody returned my call. I called again around 4 and found a live person. I explained that I needed the wire removed because I could not chew and the wire was causing sores in my mouth. I wanted to go back and have it removed but the lady at the front, not sure who she was as she was not the lady that had welcomed me on my visit. To cut the story short, the lady tried to provide me with a million reasons why I should not go back to the office to have the wire removed. Even thought I told her I was nursing and I needed to eat so I don't pass out she seemed not to care. Anyway after I told her I was not going to listen to all the excuses - that I only needed to know if I should come into the office or not, she offered me an appointment for the following day. I told her I could not stand another minute with these poky wires in my mouth. This was an emergency I told her. After she realized I was serious she told me I had to get to the office in 20 minutes. I told her I would try as I was leaving the house right after I hang up the phone. It was around 6 PM and told had that there might be traffic but I was on the way. She told me if I want there by 6:30 the doctor was not going to wait for me. I was shocked! Sincerely she wanted me to rush there and didn't care if I crashed or not. Anyway I made it there before her deadline. The doctor that worked on me was patient and understanding and she actually found out there was a problem with the wire they had put to support my mouth. She worked on me patiently to resolve the problem. If it wasn't for this doctor I was ready to switch dentists. The lady that spoke with me needs some serious training on how to handle customers. Otherwise this place will lose many customers!
