I had an awesome experience at Eastern Dental of Marlton. Dr. Paliouras is the best! I went to the office because I bit down on a pit from an olive (not knowingly of course) The pain was unbelievable. I wasn't sure if I had broken the tooth or not. The pain was not constant, but I definitely could not eat on that side of my mouth. Even using a Waterpik flosser was unbearable. I was fortunate to be able to get an appointment Friday morning. From the time I arrived the atmosphere was great. Beginning with Ms. Liz, everyone was friendly and helpful. Dr. Schwarz took me in for the initial check of my tooth. He did the x-rays and explained what a stress fracture was and what it meant going forward. He explained that I would have to have root canal surgery. (Words I could have gone the rest of my life without hearing) He took me out to Mr. Naeem to get scheduled. Mr. Naeem was very thorough with his explanation of what would happen next. When he was finished telling me what the next steps would be, he told me that they had a doctor present that could do the root canal for me. He asked Dr. Paliouras and he was able to do the procedure that day. Dr. Paliouras explained every step of the way what was happening and what I should expect. Dr. Paliouras made me feel at ease. I felt absolutely no pain (not even from the needles). Ms. Janelle was awesome. She took the time to fully explain the next few weeks and what I should expect. I will recommend everyone I know to your office! Thanks for such an awesome experience!

The people are hardworking and knowledgeable. Everyone is pleasant and trying their best to provide great customer service. The problem is that there is severe understaffing which causes unacceptable delays. At my last visit I waited almost 1 1/2 hours past my appointment time before I was seen. Normally I would give only 1 star in this situation but I understand that worker shortages is currently an issue for many business and everyone there is doing as well as can be expected in these circumstances. A family member's appointment was also scheduled for this week. They received a call telling them that there appointment needed to be rescheduled and the first available appointment is not for another 5 months. I cannot in good conscious recommend Eastern Dental of Marlton until such time as they are able to resolve their staffing issues and get their appointment scheduling back on track.

I had an excellent experience! The receptionist was polite and welcomed everyone warmly. I was called back in a timely manner, for the first time I received X-rays without having the plates they place in your mouth dig into my gums and I was very pleased. The dentist completed a thorough check up and the the hygienist took great care while cleaning my teeth and then I was out the door. Thank you Eastern Dental Team.

You have to leave numerous messages before finally getting a return call and then speck with several people before your issues are resolved.

The staff are polite and professional. The wait was ridiculously long. They should just tell you to block off half your day. The paperwork process is decades old. You have to fill out a lot of paperwork, repeatedly writing your name, address, dob, etc. This includes insurance information after you were not permitted to make an appointment until supplying this information and after they verified. Why are they making their customers go through these pointless steps! There is such a focus on collecting money, Listening to the patients at the counter being told what they owed was disheartening. Saw the dentist for 3 minutes and spent more time being told what the insurance didn't cover and what was owed. They should use some of that money to update their patient information collection system to electronic methods such as tablets.
