I appreciate their taking in the kitty I found dying under my parked car, and for allowing me to pick her up after hours - and her vet was very good at communicating her status to me. However, my jaw dropped when I was told I had to pay the full estimate upfront and I was very very upset they forgot to give me her medication when I picked her up so she missed an entire day's worth of treatment. The night vet just told me to force feed her and he gave the impression he doesn't expect her to live. I was also surprised they released her so soon as, imo, she should have stayed hospitalized longer. I wondered if it's indicative of the practice that not only could they not find the pet carrier I brought her in for a good 10 minutes, I could read harshly-worded notes to staff behind reception.
