Replaced furnace in a timely manner. Lacking quality to include: unreported damaged woodwork, exposed sharp metal edge, shady wire installation, leaking ductwork, leaving exposed wall anchor, and no return call on concerns of filter installation.
Richard arrived within the given time frame and went to work. He identified the problem quickly, a short on the low voltage side of the transformer, but like many partial shorts it was hard to find. He stuck with it, fixing other problems as he went until he found a partial short in the contactor on the outdoor unit. Even though the unit was an American Standard, Richard found a replacement unit and after installing it the heat pump started work just fine. It continues to work well. Nick was knowledgeable, courteous, and respectful. The price for our unit came in well below the offers from other companies. Perhaps because of the Carrier Cool Cash offer that Economy subscribes to and others did not. How ever it was done, it made the deal a no-brainer. We worked with 5 companies and Nick was the easiest person to communicate with.
Nick Garcia answer all my questions to my satisfaction. He was on time and took time to troubleshoot my heating duct problems and suggested remedies to fix them. He provided me with a reasonably priced quote and since it was within my budget, I decided that Carrier was the best option.
They showed up with our fireplace shortly after we first called. The crew was professional and clever. This whole process couldn't have gone more smoothly. We couldn't recommend Economy Hearth and Home any higher.
My issue did not get resolved and I'm being told that they can't help me again till August! My issue could have easily been resolved but it feels like it's all an upsell! Like spend $1000 to resolve the issue. I'm ok with that as well but to make me wait till August to get get fixed is ridiculous!
