I very much appreciate the throughness that Ed's has given me for my vehicle. My previous shop gave me little/no warning of issues causing emergency repairs at least twice stressing me and my budget. At a friend's recommendation I changed to Ed's and I am thrilled to find out there is a Jeep mechanic in house. As is usually the case when having service done on your vehicle the cost is always of great concern. My Toyota Corolla had a front end squeak that was getting worse everyday. It turns out that I needed a new caliper on the drivers side along with associated hardware. I was told that calipers are always replaced in pairs....so I needed to have both sides completed. Depending on the source, and there are many on the internet, it is not necessary to have both calipers replaced at the same time. I did not find this out until after the repairs were completed. Brake pads do need to be replaced on both front wheels at the same time. My $472.00 repair bill could have been a whole lot less if I had only had the "bad" side repaired. It would have been under $100.00 if I had done it myself. That being said, Ed's is a clean, professional shop with courteous employees. If I was not unemployed this "shot" to my wallet may not have bothered me so much.

I needed an oil change and to check out my struts. The oil change was fast, and the staff was honest and didn't try to upsell me anything. They told me what needed to be done and a timeframe so that I can plan ahead.
