First, let me start by saying I HATE going to the dentist. That said, Dr B has been our dentist for 18 years because he is THE best. He's confident, has a soft touch & a firm hand, he takes his time, yet doesn't fiddle around. He's very professional, got a great sense of humor & knows & loves his craft. He ALWAYS explains what he's doing & why. While many professionals get offended when you ask questions, Dr B seems to truly appreciate the opportunity to explain things & show you what he knows about things. He talks with his hands, making one hand into the shape of a tooth & showing you what's what & where. He gets to the point, yet makes you feel like you're his only patient.
He has a great staff. They're friendly, real & professional, with a wide variety of personalities & styles. He does a great job of matching his DA's style with his patient's. Some people are pretty 'chatty' at the dentist, those folks get a DA who's a bit 'chatty'. I talk a bit at first, but I'm very quiet once the action starts. I get a DA who's quieter & more reserved. I get her every time & we work great together. My wife gets a different DA that's more her style. I don't know how he does it, but he truly knows his craft right down the line; from people to teeth he's the best. We drive about 40 minutes to get to his office since we moved, but have NEVER considered changing to a dentist that's closer. We have changed our family physician though. ;-)
