The optometrist was very thorough with the examination. I felt as if she took the time to check out everything. I like the new glasses except that the curvature on the lenses makes it very difficult to view anything at an angle. The only way I can comfortably view anything is if I look straight ahead - and that is VERY inconvenient. I've had glasses ever since I was a child and I've never experienced this before. I called the office and spoke to the person who helped me picked out my frames. She basically told me that this was normal (see above: it is not normal for me), and that over time my eyes would adjust. Well its a few weeks later and I continue to have difficulty seeing things at an angle. Though I was in need of new glasses, the disappointment I feel from not being able to fully use them makes me feel as if my money was not well-spent. I'm not mad, just disappointed.
