My car quit dead..while leaving a funeral. I was barely able to get it running and fought it through trafficand made it up Sunnyside, actually passing the funeral procession. It was smoking and shaking so I headed it straight to your shop. It would barely idle and luckily you were able to quickly look it over and then we left it there as you drove us home. I knew it was serious ignition problems and thought that it would be stuck in your shop for days. We were totally surprised when you phoned that night and said it was about finished. I expected an expensive mess but the total bill still was a stunner. Still, I trust your service and knew that the components were quite costly. We are very pleased that we had the car back in less than 24 hours. Runs like dream. Thanks.

Charged $200 for mechanic to tell me vehicle needed new head. Quoted roughly $5k for a head replacement. Quoted $3500 at another shop for a whole engine with 3 year warranty. During courtesy inspection, claimed headlights need 'polished' when headlights are brand new.

Had an intake gasket replaced 2 years ago by Empeys, it started leaking 6 months ago. Was told I would have to pay full cost for repair, which was roughly $1200. At that time, another shop quoted me $800. 4 tires mounted by Empeys, all were misbalanced. Will no longer use Empeys after using them for 15 years.

Empey's always gives me good service. I was a little disappointed that they said it would be 1 1/2 hours and it took 3 1/2 hours. I know stuff happens and you get behind.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that communicates very well and makes sure all repairs are agreed to before work gets completed. Highly recommended over any car dealership service department.
