I have had excellent care, advice, and better and better results. I cannot say enough good things about Alisa Murphy and her assistants. (I was treated by Alisa when she worked in another local practice, and was overjoyed when I discovered that she joined Empire and Dr. Tracy.)
I first met Alisa with a raging, very painful, sudden onset of psoriasis, undiagnosed by several doctors, two of whom were afraid of contagion and had me hospitalized for several days in an attempt to relieve my distress and make a diagnosis. They referred me to a dermatology group. Alisa, on examining me, said something to the effect of "I think that you have psoriasis--several forms!" The doctor agreed with her diagnosis and I began treatment. Relief was almost immediate, but the bumps, rashes, blisters, and plaques took longer to subdue. They are all well held at bay now. They are just an occasional minor inconvenience.
Much later, while still under Alisa's care, I developed Rosacea (not painful, but ugly, and
worsening. Alisa prescribed, and temporarily things improved. Then came Covid, and the
doctor sent me a letter saying that he was no longer treating my conditions. Alisa disappeared (from my care givers). Finally, I found Empire Dermatology and soon, Alisa.
My Rosacea is no longer noticeable; it is still around, but a few days without treatment,
and it threatens to reappear. I am content to keep doing the facial washes and the cream and gel that Alisa prescribed, They are routine, quick, and pleasant.
My husband has also been Alisa's patient, for longer than I. Alisa diagnosed his skin cancer, and acquainted us with fine surgeon who performed excellent results.
I highly recommend this group. My experience has been so very positive.
The area is lucky to have this group.
