Overall, the opthalmologists' assistant and the doctor we're both professional and my experience with both were great. However, once I met with the salesperson to fit me for the glasses and go over what my insurance covered and what it did not, it went down hill. This person told me that eye insurance is basically a "joke" - her words, not mine.
I told her that it wasn't a joke since, the glasses I was looking at would easily have cost me close to $700 without insurance. It only cost $120. And, if more than one family member in my home needed glasses (likely) than, it would cost them close to the same. And, we don't pay a ton for the eye insurance so, it IS worth it. It was an off conversation and, I almost walked out without buying anything... More in disgust for her attitude than anything.
I will go back to this doctor however, when I need new glasses, next time, I won't buy from them.
