This is my second visit with Dr. Moranz for an annual exam. I should have learned the first time. When I arrived, the waiting room was crowded and people were not spaced 6 feet apart, although everyone was thankfully wearing a mask. Both times I had an appointment with her, she was very disinterested in anything I expressed as concern. Her exam was very cursory and she did not wear gloves while performing her exam. Also, it is very difficult to be in a paper gown that opens to the back and flip over on an exam table, once to your stomach, and then back to your back. Another dermatologist performed my exam with me standing, which was much easier. When I expressed concern over some issues with my facial skin , she basically said she could not see it. I asked if she could use a magnifying device to see it and she said she didn't have one in the room. I found it odd that there wasn't even a magnifying glass in an exam room for a dermatologist. She proceeded to state she could do a procedure to rectify my concern even though she could not actually see what I was concerned about. I had no confidence in a physician offering to fix something they could not see. I don't feel she provides any education to her patients and seems, again, very disinterested. I will be finding another dermatologist for future exams.
