I do not feel that she listened or even gave me the opportunity to tell her my whole situation. She decided what she thought it was. Which is not what my PCP and rheumatologist have diagnosed. And didn't seem to appreciate the fact that it took me so long to get in. My PCP had already done a biopsy. Plus, I have a rheumatologist that I see and have for over 20 years. I have other issues going on that I had concerns about. Wasn't sure if they were related to the lupus or not. And I'm still not sure as she seemed to be in a hurry to get me out of there. I feel like I should have cancelled my appointment after I'd already received a diagnosis form other providers. I really feel that new patients should not have to wait for several months to get in.

The full body checkup was less than thorough, she never looked at the back of my legs or posterior. Everything was done sitting on the table

This is my second visit with Dr. Moranz for an annual exam. I should have learned the first time. When I arrived, the waiting room was crowded and people were not spaced 6 feet apart, although everyone was thankfully wearing a mask. Both times I had an appointment with her, she was very disinterested in anything I expressed as concern. Her exam was very cursory and she did not wear gloves while performing her exam. Also, it is very difficult to be in a paper gown that opens to the back and flip over on an exam table, once to your stomach, and then back to your back. Another dermatologist performed my exam with me standing, which was much easier. When I expressed concern over some issues with my facial skin , she basically said she could not see it. I asked if she could use a magnifying device to see it and she said she didn't have one in the room. I found it odd that there wasn't even a magnifying glass in an exam room for a dermatologist. She proceeded to state she could do a procedure to rectify my concern even though she could not actually see what I was concerned about. I had no confidence in a physician offering to fix something they could not see. I don't feel she provides any education to her patients and seems, again, very disinterested. I will be finding another dermatologist for future exams.
