Great doctor. I did not appreciate having to sit in waiting room and listen to tv blare Coronavirus information while I waited. I was a nervous wreck by the time I left the office. Is it not enough that we listen to details all day long now we have to be subjected while we wait. Perhaps staff should be more sensitive to what clientele may or may not want to listen to. If that did not go into equation I would have rated 5 star. Doctor was fantastic.

We are so sorry to hear your dislike in the news coverage. We try our best to be sensitive to everyone needs/wants. If asked, we would have been more then happy to change the channel to something more of your liking. The majority of our patients have requested that news channel so that is where we typically keep it. When young children come into the office, we change it to something more children friendly such as PBS/ Sesame Street or other appropriate material. Once again we are sorry to worry you so. Please let Sabrina if there are any issues with the material on TV at your next visit. Thank you for your review.

Good morning,
We do not mandate our patients nor our staff to wear masks while in our practice. It is a personal preference and we completely understand if patients or staff can't wear masks due to medical conditions beyond their control.
We make certain to limit the amount of foot track in our office by requiring each person to have an appointment. We take temperatures at the front door prior to anyone entering. We do everything that is asked of us not only from the American Optometric Association but the state of Tennessee. We make sure to book each patient in hourly increments to allow time for the whole office to be disinfected properly.
We are sorry for the issues regarding lab turn around times. We do our very best to make certain that our patients are given the appropriate time frame expected. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, it has caused all of our lives to be harder. Including the optical industry. The labs mandates a clean and safe work environment for their employees. If one employee becomes sick, the lab must shut down to sanitize all equipment. Sanitizing takes 4-5 days to do. Each time the lab shuts down there are additional delays. It is an inconvenience but we tell our patients on the front end what to expect. This doesn't necessarily mean your glasses will have the exact same issues but we make sure all of our patients aware of the possibility. Typically glasses take 5-10 days to come back. We hope to get back to some time of "normal" soon.

In all that time I have never experienced the superior, personal service I received from Dr. T and his staff. While on vacation in Tennessee I needed urgent care. The Thiesing Family Chiropractic Center responded swiftly. I received adjustments for four days. Additionally, I had two very helpful massages to augment the adjustments.
