The building was beautiful and the tile and decor was as good as I could have expected. I enjoy the relaxation room and my favorite part was the digital fish aquarium. The staff was sweet and nice and well dressed. The bathrooms were well stocked will all you need and, again, exceptionally nice. It is all apparent the company planned well and spent considerable money on making the building modern and very pleasing.
This was my first time hear. The over all theme was great concept and money invested in the business showed company cares on making a top experience. Where they failed so many have failed before. Spent millions on the building and then hire low paid, low skilled workers who always fall short, as that is what I will remember not the beautiful tile. Their was plenty of staff, to many if you ask me, but still a lot of little things were being missed by young and inexperienced staff.
Since this was my first visit I knew nothing of where to go and what to do and generally felt lost and confused and the staff was not a help. I had a confusing and then almost frustrating conversation about my shoes and where they wear with a manicurist who spoke broken English and then she involved front desk staff, who could care less and didn't help. It was only later that I figured out what all the discussion and questions were about. I wasn't wearing the provided sandals but as I said first time, no help didn't realise it. At the same time another first time client endured the same confusing conversation as me and I realised maybe I wasn't the idiot in this situation as made out to be but a lack of information being given.
The mood lighting was low for a sense of peace but then the room signs were in black and small and could not be read by me. I am sure in bright light or 20 year old eyes, these signs were adequate but not to your normal client, especially first time clients. I went into the wrong bathroom and that was embarrassing. The massage therapist was nice, friendly and always smiling as all the staff were. She did all the extras that make a massage great, making sure I was warm and comfortable and even asking for my preferences. Her training was done right and it showed but she failed as I told her my preference and she completely ignored it. Trouble areas were completely missed or barely touched while she concentrated on areas I do not enjoy. I did not enjoy the massage as it was not relaxing as all I could think about is "I just told her not to massage that and she is completely ignoring me". Quality robes, clean building, great steam room and sauna. Citrus water had no flavor and was executed incorrectly.
Huge investment in building and furnishings and you fall short on staff experience. They were all smiles but no substance, try hiring experienced people with some skills and pay them a little more. So for the price, I think I will give up the digital fish bowl, nice bathrooms and fancy robes and get a better massage and ped/manicure in the mall.
