Overall, the experience was less enjoyable than I had expected. I figured, since they were known as the best foreign diagnosis shop, they'd be able to pinpoint the reason for my car lurching under acceleration pretty easily. Instead, I spent nearly $3,000 on tasks that didn't fix the problem. Now, they did identify what was wrong, but by the time they figured that out, I was at the end of my "fix it" budget. Then, due to Covid reasons, they held my car an extra two weeks because they shut down(in September 2020, not March or April 2020), of which I was accepting of, with the thought in mind that they would give me a discount due to holding my asset. The owner proceeded to give me a 3% discount which, to me, was insulting. When I showed up to speak to him/pay for the work done to my car, he was supposed to be there to speak with me, but he didn't show.
On top of this, my car certainly had extra scratches and what not on it when I got it back. Now, I can't prove any of this, but I am a reasonable guy who keeps very close track of paint imperfections on his cars, and these scrapes and scratches were not there prior. "Wear and tear" is certainly something that just happens, but these scratched are fresh and unexplainable.
