This is my third time going to Evers and Gardner. Cleanings, a filling, and education. Before my wife convinced me to try this dentist, it had been over ten years since I had been to one. I knew I needed to go, but wanted to find one that would put me under. I gave in to my wife and tried this practice out, preparing myself for the expected lecture.
No lecture! Even after I admitted to not going to the dentist for over 10 years! My bad habits weren't used to shame me, only to identify what I needed to know: Drink soda? Described the acidic nature and suggested trying something else for a glass or two a day. See if I really missed it. Don't floss? Listened to why I don't, is understanding, and then suggests a way that would lessen the problem.
Personable, thoughtful, non-judgemental, efficient, proficient... I don't fear the dentist anymore.
