As always, I received excellent professional care in an office staffed with warm and friendly people. I have full trust in Dr. Rousch's expertise in providing the best exam and eye care. Thank you!

I felt the doctor was knowledgible, but it felt like a sales pitch the entire time. I called looking for a local eye doctor to help with a complex multifocal prescription, and near the end of the visit I was told they were closing that office and moving to the Westbrook office. The reason I chose that office was because it was close to my home. The person booking the appointment for a new client should have been upfront about the office closing.

The exam was 3X the price of any other eye exam I have ever had, and the contact fitting also was 3 to 4 times the price of any other eye doctor I have ever been to in past 30 years. The digital bifocal lenses he recommended plus average priced frames cost $570( I did not buy them), and I am affraid to find out the cost of the progressive multifocal contact lenses, that I was given a trial pair to test out. The total exam cost came to over $500 and I haven't even got any contacts or glasses yet. I am disappointed that the service is all about sales and not about helping people with their sight. I will be sure to get my written RX, so I can price shop before agreeing to any more surprises when I look at the total bill.

I had to hear from a co-worker that Eye Care & Eye Wear Center of Maine was no longer taking our insurance. When I questioned them about it, they said o yes and this "Gorham" office is closing. How convenient?? I would have thought I would have received a letter as well so I could research other options before I need another eye exam! I also do not like how they tell you how easy and great it is to use this machine to take pictures of your eyes instead of using the dilating drops AND THEN they tell you, your insurance won't cover it so if we use the photos, it will cost you an additional $35! I felt they were being deceptive. They did this same thing to a co-worker! The cost upfront would have been the professional way to present this ripoff procedure! I switched eye doctors today!

I recently moved from out of state and had a mini eye-emergency and no local doctors. The staff was welccoming, helpful and knowledgeable - they helped with my transition AND solved my eye issue. Great service!

Dr. Haverkamp and Dr. Fox were both great with Riley (5) and made his eye exam quick and easy. We couldn't have asked for better care.

This is my 3rd annual visit and every visit has run late. I arrive on time only to wait 15-30 minutes in the waiting room. Then during this visit I experienced something new. They took pictures of my eyes and then told me that if I wanted the pictures developed and used that it was going to cost an additional $39! I opted to have the diluting drops instead..for free..and they sent me back to the waiting room for another 30 minutes. I felt like it was punishment because I did not take the $39 gimmick! Over an hour for a routine eye exam is ridiculous!

People are very nice here and Eric is very good and professional. Still struggle with the payment/insurance aspect of things and I believe I could have saved more money if given the proper feedback.

I love the people at Eye Care; they're friendly and very professional!! Wish they accepted "Care Credit" so my husband become a client.
