The Bel Air location has way too much turnover. I’ve had an annual appointment at this office at least 3+ years in a row. Each visit there has been a completely different staff. No complaints, until this last visit.
The doctor, each visit has been exceptional. This visit included. He was kind, knowledgeable, very thorough. The support staff, let’s just say he was completely out-manned.
I was the first appointment of the day. The only customer in the building, until I was checking out and another customer came in.
The place was absolutely filthy! The sink that I was instructed to wash my hands in was atrocious! There were piles of clothes, bags of food and open drinks, on the counter in the glasses selection area. They were never removed, from the beginning of my visit until I walked out the door. The back room, which they were trying very hard to keep the door closed to, was beyond words, filthy!
I went in for contacts and glasses, I chose to only refill my contact prescription. The selection of frames was the worst! Like they had gathered up all of the unsold junk frames from their other locations and dumped them there to try and get rid of.
Levin sells themselves as a sort of boutique experience, that’s certainly not what you get from this location. It feels like a subpar outlet. Like they bought the previous owners failing eyewear clinic and are doing the bare minimum to keep it open. It’s disappointing. Bel Air could use a great eyewear clinic. At the moment, this is not it.
