The Hillsboro location was a lot easier to get to via the Max train rather than downtown Portland. I HATE Portland anyway. My experience at the Hillsboro/Orenco location was very pleasant.

Also, it was a good experience at the Peterkorte location.

I was greeted and signed in promptly. I spent less than 2 minutes waiting to be taken back to the examination room. The staff were courteous and professional. The doctor was very pleasant and did the examination in a professional manner. She answered all of my questions and provided the results of my eye exam clearly.

I have been seeing doctors at EyeHealth Northwest for years, and the current doctor, Dr. June Tse, is great. She is compassionate, capable, and has a great memory for you as a patient and as a person. I highly recommend this place for the service and the selection of nice frames.

I am extremely disappointed and upset with Dr Chavez's office. I am writing this review do to being billed for a visit that I was told I wouldn't be billed for do to the fact the ONLY reason I was being seen was because of a crown that Dr Chavez put on. I was told by a different dentist that the work was bad and that it needed to be replaced immediately. I called the office to make an appointment for him to see if this was true. I explained at that time to the receptionist the situation and she said that there wouldn't be a charge for an inspection of the crown only. I went in to the scheduled visit, spent all of maybe 5 minutes with Dr Chavez to tell me he didn't feel there was anything wrong with the crown he did. He assured me it was fine and I was on my way. I then later get a bill in the mail of $55.40 balance (because they also billed my insurance) for this visit. I called to question the charge and was told they would look into it, and they would get back to me (unfortunately I didn't write the woman's name down that I spoke with..who knew I would need to). I didn't hear anything back, but then a month goes by and I get a 2nd notice in the mail for the bill. I call and question it again and speak with Carrie only to be told that she doesn't know who I would have spoke to that told me I wouldn't be billed, that she is the only scheduling person and she wouldn't have told me that. HHMMM so now I am a liar?!!! OH NO!! Unfortunately I don't know who I spoke with originally, but I would never have gone back to Dr Chavez if I knew he was going to charge me to check his OWN work. What kind of dentist does this?!! You would think after your client spends several hundreds of dollars on a crown to be done, you would stand behind you work rather than charging them to reassure them it is ok after being told it wasn't by another dentist. Instead Carrie informs me "do to increasing costs there is always an office visit". I can't control the "increasing costs", but the 5 minutes of Dr. Chavez's time that it took to check HIS work should not cost me $55.40 (plus whatever they charged my insurance).
