My experience with the nurse and the doctor was excellent! However, the front office staff was not friendly at all. The check in and check out staff NEVER NOT ONE TIME SMILED. It was as if they hated being there and took it out on me.
My Appointment was for 9:30 a.m. with Dr. Haik. Prior to going to the EMC I filled out all paperwork for a new patient which made the check in process very fast. At approx. 9:15 I was called to the back, the nurse asked me several questions about my eyes and the reason for my visit. She then performed several eye tests and then dilated my eyes. She was very nice. The dr. came in a few minutes later, talked with me for a little while and performed my eye exam. He wrote me a new eye scrip and said everything looks good, see you in 2 years. The Dr. was very nice also. He took his time with the examination and did not rush thru the appointment.
Long wait times at check in, again waiting to be called back and again once eyes were dilated. Brutal on small children, from arrival to check out was over 2 hours, long for an uncomplicated visit. All staff were friendly.
