I initially went to the Advanced Health Center because they offer stem cell therapy. My right index finger was damaged by osteoarthritis; I could no longer use that finger and it often hurt when I was not using it. I received stem cell injections in my hands and now am able to use my right index finger normally--it is pain free. Also, my left shoulder and bicep were often painful; sometimes I had to support my left arm by wearing a sling and not using it at all. An MRI showed many small injuries to the tendons and other tissues. I received stem cell injections in my shoulder, and my pain gradually went away. I now have full range of motion with my left arm. I learned about their Functional Medicine program and signed up. It focuses on testing the body for biological imbalances and treating them with specific nutritional supplements.
