Actually, I’m not quite sure how to rate my visit. The front office staff were great, helping me pick out some nice frames. The exam however didn’t thrill me. I’d made an appointment with one person based on the available appointments in Zocdoc, but was examed by someone completely different - felt like bait and switch. When asked if my eyes had gotten better or worse, the reply was ‘I don’t like those words. Your eyes are different and that happens when we age. ‘. I’d checked that I approved having my eyes dialated for the exam at an additional $25 and that didn’t happen. I just realized that I left without an itemized statement so I don’t know if I was charged for that. or 2’ mode of working through the lenses, but this gentleman doesn’t ‘like’ that, preferring ‘what changed’. This may be a really good method but at the end of the exam I told him things still look blurry/not sharp. I won’t know until my glasses arrive if I was right in accepting ‘it’ll be fine.’ So like I said...mixed bag...the ladies out front and selection of frames - yes. Exam? Not so much.
