The staff members were friendly and professional. I had visited the store a couple of months ago to help a friend select some frames. The person who helped us remembered me and even asked about my friend. They had my records from previous purchases, noted differences in my prescription and made helpful suggestons.

My experience was good, the staff is very friendly and helpful

Prices are very high so that is the only issue

Always satisfied with my experience at Eyeworks of Atlanta. Dr. Birdsong is great. Staff is super helpful and friendly.

The doctor was 30 minutes behind on appointments. He was very patronizing and talked to me like I knew nothing about my own contacts. He also complained constantly about having to use a computer and said that we are all slaves to the bureaucrats. So yeah, overall a super weird experience that I hope to never relive.

Actually, I’m not quite sure how to rate my visit. The front office staff were great, helping me pick out some nice frames. The exam however didn’t thrill me. I’d made an appointment with one person based on the available appointments in Zocdoc, but was examed by someone completely different - felt like bait and switch. When asked if my eyes had gotten better or worse, the reply was ‘I don’t like those words. Your eyes are different and that happens when we age. ‘. I’d checked that I approved having my eyes dialated for the exam at an additional $25 and that didn’t happen. I just realized that I left without an itemized statement so I don’t know if I was charged for that. or 2’ mode of working through the lenses, but this gentleman doesn’t ‘like’ that, preferring ‘what changed’. This may be a really good method but at the end of the exam I told him things still look blurry/not sharp. I won’t know until my glasses arrive if I was right in accepting ‘it’ll be fine.’ So like I said...mixed bag...the ladies out front and selection of frames - yes. Exam? Not so much.

In summary, the experience does not justify the cost. My experience was rushed, at times frantic, the client before me arrived late but her service took part of my time - they did not want the next client to start late so they rushed me through. I suffered because she could not get there on time. Did I leave with a cut and color? Yes. The worst part of this Salon is the check out. The message is - give me your money and get out. If you ask a question or are not prepared to swipe your card for whatever amount they say - prepare yourself to have them be so ugly to you that you SWEAR TO YOURSELF you will never ever go back. They either speak to you like you are ignorant or they don't speak to you AT ALL!!! If you tell the front desk "manager" - total waste of time.
