They do very good work, but there is a HUGE lack of communication. The dentist was not clear or direct about the work that needed to be done, the dental assistant told me one price, then the front desk told me a price that was 4 THOUSAND dollars higher than the last employee. Then I find out specifics that the dentist should have told me when I was in the chair talking to him. All the way around very disappointed and I feel like I was jerked around on pricing and what needed to be done. I no longer feel like I can trust their word on what needs to be done due to the big lack communication from the dentist on down.
Thank you for stating that our dentist does good work and our staff are friendly. We apologize for the miscommunication regarding pricing for your treatment. You mention that you spoke first to our dental assistant about the cost of the treatment, dental assistants do not deal with presenting cost nor are they trained to discuss such matters. Thus, thank you for making us aware of this and I can assure this will not happen again. When Dr Hamam visits with patients regarding their treatment plan, he is very thorough in explaining your options and making sure you are aware of what is the priority in regards to your treatment and what can wait. At times, and if not directed by the dentist or if asked by the patiient, front desk personnel will present the cost of the entire treatment plan for the whole mouth. I am sorry that we caused you an unwanted surprise. Dr. Hamam is know to be very flexible and does what ever is possible to help every patient that comes in to our office. We apologize again for any miscommunication we may have caused you and we wish you the best. Thank you again for your feedback.
