This is my 2nd time getting service & since I bought two oil changes the 3rd time will by my last.

The dust cover to where the oil pan is, didnt get secured properly and now over have the fasteners have fallen out.

Im super disappointed in yall and I wont be recommending you to others

Found a nail in one of my tires and let me know they couldn't patch it up in good conscience. Didn't charge me anything for it either. 4th time at Fairfax Auto, they've done right by me every time.

The brake work done was good but the communication with the office staff needs improvement. I made an appointment to have my brakes check because I believed the rotors needed to be replace. I also asked if they could check out a squeaking noise when I turned. I asked to be called with an estimate. After 2.5 hours I called because I hadn't heard anything. I was told the quote would be done soon. When I received the estimate over the phone I was told there would be a diagnostic fee ($110) in addition to the quoted brake price and front axle replacement. The diagnostic fee was never mentioned when I dropped the car off. I explained that In my past experience I have never paid a diagnostic fee since I usually decided to get some or all of the work done with them on the same visit. I was told that the fee would be taken off. I only decided to get the brake work done in this visit since the axle work was $900 and didn't seem to be an emergency. When my spouse went to pick up the car the diagnostic fee was back on our bill. He didn't know what had been discussed so he didn't question the extra fee and paid the bill to get my car. After over 5 years of positive experiences With Fairfax Auto Repair I am really disappointed.

Brought the car in thinking there was an issue, they checked out and said nothing was wrong. Very honest place and they have just picked up another customer!

I had to get a new tire and wheel due to running over a pot hole. The shop had the tire but ordered the wheel through a third party vendor. What should have been a 2 hour fix turned into a 3 day ordeal due to the third party vendor being delayed on their delivery of the wheel to the shop. Once the wheel came in the fix was made and Fairfax Auto completed the fix in a few hours.

One thing i think Fairfax Auto should do better is be a little more communicative. I had to call each day to find out the status of my car. It would have been nice to receive a call about the delay from the third party company and when the part was actually delivered rather than myself having to piece together the situation.

Overall they do excellent work and I'll be back again. Otto and his team have great customer service, may just want to be a little more communication with status updates if possible.
