Normally when I take my vechiles to Fair Oaks Automotive I have no issues. I had discussed a number of repairs that my truck needed with Roger.
Unfortunately the person in the back mis quoted the mileage on my truck. Roger did not check the mileage on my truck to confirm that the person in the back got the right mileage on his report before Roger called the company that handles the extended warranty. Roger called in the repair to my truck and it was denied becuase the mileage reported exceded the mileage on the warranty contract.
Once I picked up my truck from FOA I called Roger to discuss the wrong mileage that was noted on the report. I took pictures of the correct mileage and so did Roger. With Roger's help he called the warranty company and sent a report explaining the error. The warranty company has reversed their position and will pay for covered items allowed by the warranty.
Also the wrong oil was reported on the work order which Roger corrected immedialtely by having the correct oil put in my truck. Roger did not want to take a chance that the wrong oil was put in my truck. I then got a corrected repiar report from Roger.
To be fair to Roger, I also failed to challenge the mileage quoted. I knew that the mileage on my truck was much lower than what was reported. The week I took my truck into FOA, I noted that Roger was extremly busy with other customers and I also had a full load in my business which was a distraction for me to challenge the error.
