Used to use Fast Lane for my Land Cruiser years ago. Took my old 1993 Pontiac Trans Sport there for an oil change. I would do it myself but I’m currently recovering from a work injury. They proceeded to tell me that I had a massive transmission fluid leak, to which I asked if they saw it leaking because I had just recently fixed a bad hose clamp on a transmission cooler line. They said it was active leak. Asked if they checked trans fluid level, they hadn’t. Went to bay to check the fluid and the guy working on the car next me popped the radiator cap and shot fluid all over his face and the car. Luckily he wasn’t burned. Checked van when I got home and don’t see a leak. Always skeptical quick change oil places and this just reaffirms that.I’m

The oil change was great as usual but I noticed a price increase since my last visit. Affordability has always been a Hallmark of Fast Lane. I was also disappointed that the technician was unwilling to change my brake light bulb.

I like this place and it was recommended by my mechanic, whom I adore, so I could get same day service but I always worry a little. The last time I came in I was 3 cars back and the guy asked me what I was in for, I told him I needed an oil flush (I may have worded that wrong), he said he would get that taken care of. When it was done, they tried to charge me for a standard oil change and then I said wait, so then they changed the charge and asked the guy and he was like oh, yeah yeah, but then I really wondered.... Was that even done? They don't mark your car of what needs to be done before it gets pulled in. This last time I came in, they wanted me to drive in the bay, which I really don't think customers should be due to the liability along with a sign that says "no customers in the bay area" and the guy didn't even ask what I needed done, he was just ready to roll and told me I could wait in the customer lounge.
