Ferguson & Melvin Co. was founded in 1979 as a roofing contractor serving the greater Los Angeles area. At that time, we focused primarily on small residential roofing projects for local homeowners. We started with one truck and three installers, working out of a small garage.

Since that time, we have grown to over 25 employees and currently operate out of a 10,000 ft2 company-owned facility. We still offer comprehensive residential roofing services and we've also developed into a full-service commercial roofing contractor, working with building owners, HOA's, management companies, general contractors, and municipalities.

We specialize in re-roofing and roof repairs for residential , commercial, and institutional clients. Our area of expertise includes composition shingles, shake, tile, and slate for sloped roofs. And, we are expert installers for TPO, PVC single ply roofing, along with hot mop built-up roofing, modified bitumen roofing on flat roofs. In compliance with the California Title 24 cool roof requirements, we also specialize in cool roof coatings, as well as green roofing systems. Finally, we offer custom metal roof installations, as well as custom copper and galvanized sheet metal gutters and flashings. Our installations are backed by warranties up to 20 years and we offer comprehensive services all year long, regardless of the size and type of the project.
