Another great experience and some teachable moments. First, get your inspection at EuroService. I went to VaTire and they failed my car. Small bit of tire rubber was gone so, when you sell tires, they fail a car when they can. Thing is, the tire had been acceptable for the past four years at VT and another local shop. Therefore, I recommend going to an inspection station that would be more objective. Which leads me to my second teachable moment. I also replaced my car battery the same day. Since VT didn’t have the replacement tire in stock, I called Bryan and asked if he could install the battery. He said come right over. During the install, I was informed that newer BMWs has a battery management feature that requires new batteries to be “registered” so the car can charge the battery at the correct amps. Otherwise you would burn out your new battery. This is when I was told they would not have failed the tire. Bottom line is go to someone you can trust. I’ve known Bill and Bryan for years. You will be happy getting advice from the folks.
