Dr. Fishkin's philosophy is that every person who visits his office deserves a comprehensive eye exam. Every patient is greeted with a smile. You will not be rushed in and out. Every question you have will be answered, and you will leave the office with a complete understanding of your ocular health. Over the past year, he has been awarded both the Patients' Choice award, and the Most Compassionate Doctor award, a distinction shared with fewer than 3% of the nation's doctors.
Dr. Fishkin has lectured to physician, patient, and hospital groups on a variety of topics, including diabetes and the eye, and the proper management of eye emergencies. In 2011, he was interviewed by Parade Magazine, Good Housekeeping, and Golf Digest. He has given corporate lectures at the headquarters of Google, JP Morgan, and other major corporations. As part of his volunteer work, he provides free vision screenings at local schools and health fairs. He is the only Ophthalmologist for the prestigious Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, ranked by US News & World Report as the #1 rehabilitation hospital on the east coast, and #2 in the entire country.
