Our experience was exceptional. The vet Dr Ebert identified the problem that another vet had not. She gave us the choice to treat the problem conservatively or more aggressively. We chose the more conservative route. She also educated us on how the heath issue could arise and how to manage that possibility. She had to do a rectal exam on our dog and later after leaving we commented how gentle she was with our dog in contrast to an experience years before with another vet and one of our previous dogs
We were traveling from St. Louis to Denver and became aware of a health concern with our dog. Knowing we would be staying in Junction City that night we started calling vets but it was after hours. Dr Ebert of Flint Hills Veterinary Hospital picked up and suggested emergency vets en route to Junction City. After a discussion with Dr Ebert we concluded we could wait until morning.
We drive to and from Colorado many times a year so I am so thrilled to have a reliable vet en route. Although we travel with our dogs shot records, Dr Ebert offered to call our St Louis vet to get info on tick and heart worm medicine so that would be in their records too.
Observing the clients in the waiting room it appeared that the staff had a nice rapport with regular clients
