I was really upset by how the optometry handled my insurance. I went there in December 2017 and ordered a pair of glasses for that year. The person at the front desk said it would be covered in 2017 insurance and asked me to make the copay. I did and then I waited for four months almost to get an answer. They said they called me in Jan but i didn't get the call. Will give the benefit of doubt on the calls. So after 4 months, I got to know that the frame that i ordered got discontinued. I was like okay, i will get another frame. I didn't know that now the new frames that I am getting is for the new year and I already lost the benefit and copay for last years insurance. The explanation given was that the front desk representative changed and they had no note of this. I regret getting a receipt of the first payment I did. Also regret ordering a frame not available in their inventory. I wish all of this was known and communicated when I went for it first.
The doctor is good and when provided, the service is also good so I won't give bad reviews. But it hasn't been a happy experience as well.
