My experience with the doctor was wonderful. It was quick, painless, and I was given information about my astigmatism that I hadn't known before. Going upstairs, however, was the exact opposite. I wasn't even finished paying for my exam when a saleswoman from upstairs was standing right next to me, taking my paperwork, and whisking me upstairs. Now I understand that this a very good tactic to ensure that people who have their exam done there get their eyeglasses in store, but I was so hovered over that I didn't even have a chance to put my card away. I felt extremely rushed and pressured. When I saw the cost of the lenses and the treatments put on them, I asked if all of the charges were necessary for simple reading glasses and the woman rudely explained to me that even white paper reflects a glare because it is white. I'm sorry. If I could manage with drugstore glasses I would - my prescription is that low but unfortunately I can't. I ultimately called back later that day and cancelled my order. I don't like feeling pressured into purchasing something and I don't appreciate things being added to my purchase that I didn't ask for without even an explanation. The only reason I'm giving anything higher then a 0 is because the doctor was great.
