Dr. Mayhew has been caring for me as for decades, first as my ob/gyn and now as PCP. I cannot say enough good about her. She looks at the whole person and is relentless in pursuit of causes to stop problems instead of just symptoms. She educates herself constantly and is equipped with latest research findings. She listens and takes her time with patients and really, truly cares. Recently I’m dealing with serious health challenges and it is a huge comfort to have her advocacy and counseling as I work with specialists and undergo testing. Dr. Mayhew is an unusually able and compassionate MD. 20 stars in a 10-star world.

Dr. Mayhew is a wealth of information and takes her time to figure things out. She asks a lot of questions and shares an in depth perspective of her expertise. She is refreshing compared to what I am used to at Kaiser Perm. At Kaiser...A RUSHED OBYN appointment with no real answers and never being of concern to get to the root of the problem. I fought with Kaiser over my health concerns and Menopause only to be told to accept my body breakdown during Menopause, seek counseling and there wasn't anything else that my Kaiser Doctor thought anyone else could do better than her? I so Fired her and made sure that type of passive aggressive communication was not appropriate. Who does that? Ok I am getting off a little tangent about Kaiser, but you really have to understand what I went thru to end up here with a broken spirit and at a loss of where to turn or what is next. I searched and I searched for help with my issues and there just wasn't anyone near by to help me. With my busy schedule I needed someone near me. I have searched for hormone replacement help and to my concerns I was guided with this is what we offer take it or leave it. When your going thru this stage of life only to be told it in your head get over it? It's not acceptable and I wasn't going to give up. I sat down one day and typed in the right key word. Vaginal rejuvenation and Boom there she was Dr. Mayhew and all the types of particular specific expertise info I needed at the stage I was at. We met and she has a no nonsense approach and is willing to take the time to speak with you in depth. I absolutely appreciate and respect her professional opinion and value her knowledge. Sometimes we just need direct direction in how to get what we want. She has given me back what Kaiser told me was in my head and I should just accept it. I highly recommend any personal vag or menopause issues with Dr. Mayhew...Love her
