Overall, the experience was good. However, upon arrival, the fire alarm went off. Everyone had to use the staircase to go outside. I was 34.5 weeks pregnant, so it was a little bit uncomfortable for me to have to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs. We didn't have our coats, because they were put away in the coat closet. Also, there was a rain storm that day and very windy, so going outside wasn't great. It was also a very cold day in March! After all of that, we finally got into our treatment rooms, but as soon as we were about to start my facial, the fire alarm went off, again. Luckily, we were told to just stay in our room. My facial was nice. After my facial, I had a pedicure (without polish). It was fine, but even after I told the pedicurist that I did not want my cuticles to be touched, she used the buffer and buffed my cuticles to the point that two of them were very raw and broke the skin. One of them was bleeding, so she sprayed something on them that stung my cuticle! The stinging lasted about 30 minutes after my treatment was over. I will not be going back to that pedicurist. I plan to go back to see if there are other therapists who are better than the ones I had during this visit. The new space is gorgeous. The salt cave was very nice.
